City Lights Title Card (1.3)
City Lights, by Walfman - AKA 'Walfman Productions' - is a gritty serial drama, set in the fictional district of Somersgrove in the city of Portsmouth. The series began on Sunday 25th August 2013 as a two episode 'test-run', before being promoted to a regular project on Saturday, September 7th.
It was announced on Tuesday 29th October 2013 that the show would air a special scripted episode, inspired by recent scripted episodes from High Hopes, The Avenue, These Days and Uncertain Night. The episode would focus on the ongoing Len Marshall/Ray Lawrence money debt storyline and a significant development in the Adam Longford/Samantha Lawrence secret pregnancy storyline. A second scripted episode - focusing heavily on Sarah's discovery of Adam's infidelity with Samantha, and the baby lie - aired on 8th November 2013 (Episode 9).
As of Thursday 30th January 2014, there have been 23 episodes that have been posted on Writers Express. The series had been on a mid-season hiatus, but as of February 21, Walfman had revealed that the show had been axed.
